I see the quality of Events in many things around me. This is one of the artistic projects that informs my research on 'natural structures' for organizations. This concept stems from the idea that structures are both reliable and adjustable.

I am working on the project Accidental Formings [Perongelukkige Formaties] since 2017. At the time I accidentally took a picture with my phone without intending to. This resulted in a picture of nothing in particular except a pretty blur. Usually I deleted such ‘failed’ pictures, but this time I appreciated the aesthetic qualities of the image and kept it. It has turned into an artistic project that delves into the idea of catching momentum for change.

Put me and Skadi Möbius in a room together, and we create something. That is how Tape Twins started in 2018: While living in a big anti-squat house in Amsterdam together and changing our interior almost daily, we started to tape our walls. Since then we have had all kinds of commissions. As curator and artist Elisa likes to build a solid concept for the space, while Skadi the visual strategist knows how to help a client figure out what they want and draws anything. And then, we tape.
